Click here for the MBTA's website. The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) services Salem with train as well as bus service. By train, Salem is accessible on the Newbury/Rockport Commuter Rail Line. It is a 10 minute walk from the Salem Depot to our Essex St. walking tour meeting location (176 Essex Street, Salem, MA). We are also accessible by MBTA Bus. We recommend disembarking at the Salem Commuter Rail Station and walking to our walking tour meeting location.

Tips for Your Trip

As we tour year round, we recommend consulting with Salem's official travel and visitor site to determine current operating schedules for area attractions. Also, this is an outdoor walking tour, so be sure to dress to spend approximately 90-minutes, outside, in New England weather.  Click here to check out for current local weather.
